Hart Research Associates break down the Special Election
On the evening of January 19, Hart Research Associates conducted a telephone survey among 810 voters in the special election for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts. The survey, conducted on behalf of the AFL-CIO, has a margin of error of ±3.8 percentage points. Note that the survey data were weighted to be consistent with the actual election results, yielding a five-point margin for Brown (50% Brown, 45% Coakley, 1% other candidates, 4% refused).
