Delegates, Elected Officials Discuss Labor's Priorities at Legislative Breakfast

Fifty people including affiliated unions, community groups, and elected officials joined together for a discussion of labor's priorities. Special attention was given to the budget crisis and the proposed anti-teacher ballot initiative.

NSLC Joins Hundreds to Send a Message to Verizon

The march on Verizon headquarters was part of a nationwide day of action to call attention to the billion-dollar profits made by Verizon and other major corporations in the face of mass layoffs, wage cuts and other attacks on workers’ rights. Verizon workers have been without a contract since August.
