Health Care Reform in 2009: Massachusetts Reform as a National Model?

 


We invite you to attend the MA Teach-In on Health Care Reform to hear the answer to these and other important questions on health. Come join with doctors, patients, community organizations, labor groups, students, and policy makers in a discussion and analysis of the Massachusetts health care plan and the prospects for national health care reform. Participants will provide a variety of perspectives on the potential for quality, affordable health care for everyone. The event is free, and open to the public.

3.  Opening Plenary:  Massachusetts Health Care Reform Law and Lessons for National Health Care Reform

The opening plenary will discuss the effects of the Massachusetts reform on the quality and accessibility of health care for state residents, and the role individual mandates may play in a national reform plan.
