This event will feature briefings about how activists can engage in our campaigns and other allied progressive issues against the Trump administration. The Fight for $15 minimum wage, the Fair Share Amendment, labor rights, ending mass incarceration, Jobs not Jails, protecting public education, immigrants’ rights, and Safe/Sanctuary Cities will be covered.

It may not be surprising to know that America trails the world on paid maternity, according to a CBS news feature story on ” Sunday Morning” in May, 2016. Likewise, a report from the United Nations shows that the USA is one of only two countries in the world that doesn’t offer government-mandated paid maternity leave.
The other country? Papua New Guinea. Really!
