Lynn Groups Tell Scott Brown "Jobs, Not Cuts!"
Scott Brown got more than he bargained for in Lynn today, as dozens of concerned citizens gathered outside the Veterans Memorial Auditorium to protest the junior senator’s multitude of votes against jobs and seniors. The crowd of more than thirty unemployed workers and senior citizens picketed Brown’s address to the Lynn Area Chamber of Commerce this morning, calling attention to his disappointing record on jobs, Social Security, and Medicare.

A second delegation of Lynn-area residents shelled out $25 each to attend the breakfast, hoping to question Senator Brown directly on his record. But Brown refused to entertain questions from constituents at the event, sticking instead to carefully-scripted, prepared remarks. Brown has yet to host a single public town hall or open forum since taking office nearly 22 months ago.
